The world is going through a time of radical transformation. Our healing is beckoning us to find stillness in the midst of the storm. Meditation for the Movement meets people where they are, offering a moment of stillness and solidarity in the midst of the ongoing chaos of this moment.
Meditation for the Movement is a regular, brief mediation, offered on Instagram live. We are literally meeting people where they are, finding stillness together, and embodying the healing we call into being.
Join us on Instagram live on Wednesday mornings at 6:30 am ET and Thursday afternoons at 5pm ET (more times coming soon!!). Meditation for the Movement offers a moment to step away, breathe together, and experience a guided or silent meditation.
Meditation for the Movement began as an act of solidarity with those experiencing genocides around the world, emphasizing the importance of liberation for all of creation.
The simple act of mediating together offers us a moment aimed at promoting peace and mindfulness. The centerpiece of our gathering is a guided Metta meditation session, a traditional practice designed to cultivate love and kindness towards all beings. This meditation does more than simply aid personal growth; it also fosters a sense of unity and compassion in our community.
